FAQ
Curious about where to start? Explore the frequently asked questions below and please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions.
1
Can you be my primary care provider?
Although I am board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, I am specializing in women's midlife health and functional medicine and my practice structure doesn't allow me to be available at the level of acuity necessary for a primary care practice. I am happy to work collaboratively with your PCP to make you sure are getting the best care possible!
2
Do you accept insurance?
Given the extended 1:1 time I spend with my patients and the services I provide, I feel it is not in my best interest or yours to accept insurance. When practitioners participate with insurance carriers, they enter into a contract that allows the insurance company to dictate what services will be covered, oftentimes limiting the quality of care that I believe you deserve. I will happily accept HSA/FSA cards and provide a super bill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

**Please note: Due to insurance regulations I cannot see patients with Medicare or Medicaid coverage, even for a self-pay visit.
3
Can I use my insurance for labs and medications?
Yes! I am contracted with Labcorp and Quest and you can use your insurance benefits for labs. You can also use your insurance benefits for non-compounded medications.
4
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment will vary from 30-90 minutes depending on the visit. Please cancel your appointment online or by phone at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel. This will allow time for the slot to be filled. If you don't notify us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be charged a $75 cancellation/no-show fee. I appreciate your understanding.

Do you see patients outside of Oregon and Washington?
No. I am only licensed in Oregon and Washington so you must be physically located in one of those states during any televisits. I see patients in my clinic in Sellwood on Tuesdays.
